The following is the daily maintenance of the steel cord conveyor belt.
(1) Adjust in time according to the operation of the belt to prevent the belt from deflection, strengthen the edge of the belt, and damage the upper and lower cover plates, causing the steel wire rope to be exposed and fall off.
(2) Strengthen the technical management of the tape, and regularly replace the fire-resistant steel cord belt during use.
(3) If the tape sticks to the tape, the cover rubber falls off, and the defective parts such as the steel wire rope are exposed, cold sticking or vulcanization heat should be applied in time.
(4) The vulcanized joint is the weak link in the tape, and its damage is related to the vulcanization process, material, and use environment. The initial feature of the seam opening is the surface rubber cracking. Water immerses into the steel wire rope through the gap of the core rubber, causing corrosion, wire breakage, and convulsion of the steel wire rope. Regularly check the joint elongation changes and surface abnormalities, and do preventive inspections.
(5) Clean the surface of the drive roller in time to prevent uneven joints caused by irregular drum surface shapes, bubbling, wire rope twitching, and vulcanized joint elongation that may affect joint strength.
(6) The roller contacting the working surface of the anti-tear conveyor belt must be equipped with a scraper or other cleaning device to remove the adhesive on the surface of the roller and the lower roller.
(7) Do a good job in daily maintenance and management, and replace damaged rollers in time to prevent vertical tearing accidents.
(8) Install a scraper and a deflector in front of the tail roller to prevent coal and debris from entering the belt and rollers.
(9) The height of the chute at the loading point should be appropriately selected according to the material and the largest block size to minimize the falling of the chute and reduce the impact of materials on the vulcanized joints.
(10) The full hydraulic automatic tensioning device is adopted to improve the dynamic characteristics at start-up, so that the cold resistant conveyor belt can start smoothly, and reduce the impact dynamic stress on the vulcanized joint.
(11) According to the local unloading conditions of the tape, choose different repair methods such as cold filling, vulcanization, and filling steel wire rope to keep the surface of the tape intact.
(12) Strengthen the technical monitoring and management of vulcanized joints, assume responsibility for regular inspection methods such as daily inspections and x-rays, and repair defective vulcanized joints in a timely manner.
